Exploring practical AI, sensing and automation technologies
help farmers make more informed decisions and apply farm
inputs more precisely.

Enquire about AGRICULTURE

VUNAI AGRICULTURE is in development. The technologies described here represent our areas of exploration and planned development, not products currently available for purchase.

Our direction

We aim to develop India-relevant agricultural technologies that combine field data, artificial intelligence, sensors, aerial imaging and automation. The goal is to help farmers understand field conditions, identify crop and weed issues earlier, and make more targeted decisions across the growing season.

Areas we are exploring

  • AI Field Intelligence: Combining satellite imagery, weather, crop data and sensors for field-specific insights.
  • AI Weed Identification: Using computer vision to distinguish weeds from crops and locate areas needing intervention.
  • Precision Spraying: Exploring targeted pesticide application to reduce unnecessary chemical use, subject to field validation.
  • Agricultural Drones: Enabling crop monitoring, field imaging and precision spraying through responsible drone operations.
  • Robotics & Humanoids: Developing concepts for robotic crop inspection, weed detection and selected repetitive farm tasks.
  • Farm Automation & Sensors: Connecting field sensors and automated workflows to improve monitoring and reduce manual effort.

From field data to practical decisions

VUNAI aims to turn agricultural data into practical, AI-powered insights tailored to Indian crops, farm sizes, regional conditions and connectivity. Our focus is on helping farmers make informed decisions about crop health, timely interventions and efficient input use.

Who We Aim to Serve

Farmers, farmer-producer organisations (FPOs), agronomists and agricultural service providers seeking accessible, technology-enabled farming solutions.

Our Development Principles

  • Farmer-first: Designed around real Indian farming conditions and local needs.
  • Evidence-led: Validate technologies through agronomic expertise and field trials before making performance claims.
  • Resource-conscious: Encourage responsible use of water, fertilisers and crop-protection products.
  • Accessible by design: Prioritise affordability, local languages, ease of use and rural connectivity.
  • Transparent progress: Clearly distinguish concepts, technologies under development and commercially available solutions.

Current status

The AGRICULTURE vertical is at the concept and development-planning stage. Product scope, field trials, technical partners and launch timelines will be shared when confirmed. No yield gains, input savings or commercial availability are being claimed at this stage.
